SWAT team at your house? Some prankster may have sent them.

Imagine sleeping and being awakened to a SWAT team busting through your front door while throwing flash bangs around your house. Pranksters are now using the internet to contact 911 services, creating false emergencies, but using your address for the emergency response. Watch the video of this new and growing dangerous prank.

It's not enough that our 911dispatchers already have to answer questions like "what time is it"? now they have got to filter this out too! SAD, very sad.

I agree, this is just another tactic that not only waste the time of emergency responders, but also creates a dangerous situation for all involved.

Hi Anthony. There is a blogger cloning the names of my readers, can I ask if you left the following comment on my photoblog?

Mike, I have known you for quite some time now, but I have never asked how you find the time to take such awe-inspiring pictures. Let us in on your secret mate.

Yes Mike, that was me. Thanks for checking.

Thanks Anthony. The recent pics were my first trip into the city since last May!

Hi Anthony,
Unfortunately I am running very, very slow this morning due to over usage on my satellite time.

So I was not able to view the video. However, I have always found you to be a very valid and trustworthy source concerning things in America.

So I know if you reported on it...it is the truth. And, what a crying shame. Just think how many valid people calling 911 may not be able to get help in time.

However, this does not suprise me. I have become very cynical to the state of affairs in America. It's just a crying shame to sit and watch what used to be a great country being destroyed.

The angel on one of my shoulders tells me that I should be outraged that this goes on, but the devil on my other shoulder tells me that this would be a wonderful revenge tactic to use on some people who have done me wrong.

Did you see the headline on the newspaper in that clip? 'Washington teen faces 18 years in prison on charges that he used his PC to illegally access a 911 emergency response system'

The way to stop this kind of crap is to punish them fast and hard, then publicize it across the nation.
